Sony Bring us a new game for the PlayStation; Ape Escape who is the only game witch use both analog controller. Obviously the game bring us a new way to play games and that is very interesting. Sony wanted to put the use of the Dual Shock Analog Controller to is maximum. You have to use, sometime, both of the analog controller located on your PlayStation in order to perform a specific movement or to combine 2 together. So it it will demand all your skill to use both at the same time. You will use this to control vehicle like tank, boat and a large variety of weapons to help you catch the monkeys. The monkeys are little cute one that escape from they cage and are in the past. Specter and his monkey gangs use a time machine to go back in time and decide that will breed species that will rule the world. Spike and Jake are two young boy that go back in time to stop and capture the monkeys.

A colorful world They weapon are in fact a variety of fun gadgets like the Stun Club, a net, a propeller, a slingshot, a monkey's radar and a electric car. The game has 25 different levels in 8 world and some bonus level that will encounter through out your adventure and a training room where you can practice all your weapons. The colors used in the game are mostly primary colors. That a little problem but you forget it very rapidly. Unfortunately le game can not be played in multiplayer. The sound and music are fantastic and our interest is kept from the beginning to the end of the game. It is a very original game with good graphic and a fun gameplay. Ape Escape is bizarre but will be love by many. Capture the monkeys without hurting them is not only a refreshing idea but a unique one. And of course very challenging because after all they are little funny apes that will surely entertain you for many hours. |
