An Offering of Forty Atari Games, For the Fans of Nostalgia ! |
Activision has decided to re-release on the market the first games that they had offered in the time of Atari 2600. Here you will find games like River Raid, Pitfall, Enduro Racer, Skiing, Keystone Kaper, Kaboom, Stampede and many more. I remember each of these games as I played them all for long hours full of both joy and frustration. Here, the graphics are horrible, but of course, for their time, they were top-notch. The game quality if poor for PlayStation, but it remains, nevertheless, pleasing for fans of classical games. Indeed, if you compare the old games to these of today, it's certain that this assembly of games is more than satisfactory for these purists. The best games that are offered are Yar's Revenge, Pitfall, Frosbite, Keystone Kaper, Kaboom, Enduro and maybe two or three more that I haven't mentioned.

I want to specify that the format of the games was changed in order to render the definitions to the originals. I do not know what to add about this bunch of games except that it will not be a hit as it was in past times. After only a houror so, sometimes only minutes, I already began to be bored. I strongly suggest that you rent this game instead of buying it. But again, for those of you who still love and own the old consoles such as Atari, Gemini, Coleco, etc., maybe you should buy this collection and put Activision's Classic Atari in your archives. I am certain that it will have some games that you do not already have in your collection of the past. |
