989 studios brings us back a new and improve college football game called NCAA GameBreaker 2000.

NCAA GameBreaker 2000 starts with the regular options like Quick Start is where you pick 2 teams and choose one of them to control so you can play right away.

Then you can use the scrimmage to get use to the control and practice your skills to get to the Bowls or tournament because they don't count.

Fantasy League is where you can play game based you set up the point of different accomplishment of your team sacks or interception.

Tournament season is where you choose your team and then you are presented a schedule to play your season against other teams in the 1-A Division if you are finishing in the best 16 teams you will enter in the tournament at the end.  Through the season you will be able to view the statistics, score and ranking of the other teams with different option you also get to view who received the Heisman Trophy each week.

Bowl season is played the same way as the Tournament except this time you play to get in a Bowl game.

Career mode is where you have the chance to prove your skills as a coach. You have deferent job offer like offense coach or defensive coordinator in smaller school to fill then after you play the season depending on your result you will be fired or get other job offers from other schools.

All these game made can be played 2 ways other you choose Simulation where the standard college football setting or the Total Control where it is you that control the game.

Choose your team

Use the Athletic dept option you manage your team rosters you can edit the schedule, create a player, view rosters and a feature called Blue Chip Recruiting where you can recruit the top freshmen or junior college transfer by inviting them to your school then on Letter of intend day you will know witch recruit as chosen your school.

An other interesting feature is where you can custom yourself plays in your playbook. This editor is very ease to use and quite interesting and fun to use just select a play then the player then select where you want him to go save your play and after you will be able to play it your game by selecting custom play. Also if you have 2 multitap you can play up to 8 players.

The roster mode is where you can change and build any teams you want. You can create, release or sign a player and even save it and upload it into your GameDay game.

Among the others new features you will see is that Bob Toledo the 1998 PAC-10 Conference coach of the year designs specific formations and plays for you to try.

Keith Jackson the legendary voice of college football calling the game.
