Join Justin into a wonderful adventure!

From the developers of Alisa Dragoon and of the Lunar series, Games Arts brings us another one of  its game , Grandia. With it's warm welcoming world, intriguing story line and well balance friendly characters this RPG will be loved by all PlayStation RPG fans. You can even say that Grandia takes its place beside the generation of Final Fantasy's.

Long before humans claimed world superiority, the benevolent Icarians ruled the world in peace. After dividing the world in half with a great wall, they used their vast knowledge to transcend the bonds of flesh and become beings of pure light and thought. After their departure, humankind and a horned, feral race developed independently on opposite sides of the world. While humans embraced technology, the other race embraced religion and magic. Humans developed a strong government, and out of that government grew the Garlyle army.

Under the corrupt leadership of General Baal, the Garlyle army has been scouring the world for bits of magic and technology that will lead it to the ancient capital of are not and it's secrets. Destined to come into conflict with the army's plans, a precocious 15-year-old, Justin, and his friends, Sue and Feena, stumble on the Garlyle army's plans and begin a globe-spanning race to discover what happened to the Icarians and stop General Baal and his lackeys from awakening a deadly secret.

Grandia is such a massive game that you will need at least 60-70 hours to get true this marvel. The story, the atmosphere, the battle system, the characters, the world itself  will keep you seated to your chair for all the time necessary.

Grandia will take you through a real adventure, through mazes, difficult decisions and dangerous battles. Talking about the battles, these real time battles  allow you to use up to four characters simultaneously witch will keep you pretty much occupied. This game has up to over 80 spells and attacks, 200 enemies to defeat and more than 200 items to find.

Grandia's graphics seem to be lacking in texture. Still with nice backgrounds and amazing landscape Grandia seems to be a little behind in technologies.  Also like with the lunar series Grandia could of add a little more originality in its story line. But still it is an amazing story line.

The music was very good just that it can get a little annoying after a while especially if you are in the same spot for 3 hours.

The Gameplay of Grandia has a lot of depth and the interface is easy to understand. The interests level of this game is just so superior to all other RPG's. Grandia is such a good game that it will keep you motivated from the beginning to the end, witch is around 60-70 hours. The controls are quite accurate, every movement is directly coordinated with the controller. One of the great features about this game are the movies and the 3D effects used in the battles and in the game.

Grandia will be most appreciated by RPG fans because it was was designed for one that loves the sense of adventure. Become a hero, live an epic adventure with Justin and his friends true many different dangerous worlds to destroy General Baal evil plan.
