GRIND SESSION

Developed by Shaba Games and published by SCEA, Grind Session is an exciting skateboard game.

In Grind Session the game mode are Training, Tournament, Open Skate and Endurance which requires you to perform tricky combinations in order to move on to the following level.

Other mode like C.H.U.M.P. and the Tech Challenge is  where speed is the essence you have to perform within 10 seconds the best combination in order to receive a real- life photo as a reward,

It is also possible to do Tournaments of 16 players divided in 4 teams.

The Custom Skater option allows you to choose 10 of your favorite moves and save them as a new Skater. Or you can simply select professionals skaters like Willy Santos, Pigmen, Ed Templeton, Cara-Beth Burnside, Daemon Song and John Cardiel.

In order to be able to play in the Dream House you will need to earn a specific amount of points to get the key to unlock it. As you progress in the game you will also be able to unlock spectacular video of real players.

The 8 interactive locations are real places like the Vans Triple Crown of Skateboarding events, Burnside, Vancouver's Slam City Jam, San Francisco Mission District and of course the PlayStation Park.

The multiplayer mode is where the game lacks the most. Yes you can play up to 16 players but only one at a time not together.

Also the loading is long after you change a minor setting or between each game.

The D.J. records sliding sound in the menu can be annoying to hear after a while but the soundtrack while you play is done by popular alternative bands like Dr.Octogon, Zen Guerrilla, KRS-One and more.

But where Grind Session excel is in the moves. Hundreds of cool trick combinaisons can be done.

The levels are vast and well designed. You will even be able to go into the metro and to skate in tricky places.

Also their is more ways to fall then Tony Hawk's Pro Skater like rolling before you fall down or being able to see the animation of you running trying to avoid it but unsuccessfully falling anyways.

Their is a fun feature that allows you to look and choose where you want to start your combination.

Beside of the turned-based multiplayer mode Grind Session will still please the fans of skateboarding with all moves and the game mode it offers.
