Knockout Kings

Finally! A Boxing Game Available to PlayStation!

It's high time for a boxing game for consoles! EA Sports was smart and decided to put on the gloves and come out with Knockout Kings, an extraordinary boxing game. The only contender for years has been Punch Out and Knockout has many more possibilities. For example, in this game, you can either choose your boxer or create one to participate in the tournament of masters in the ring.

The performance of this game leaves something to be desired but it will still be applauded by enthusiasts of boxing games who have awaited a game of this kind for too long. Knockout Kings continues its tradition of quality games by EA Sports by creating this fighting game that is the most accurate thus far for the Tournament of Championships. The movements of the boxers are very fluid and realistic with elbow and other joints that work accurately.

On the other hand, the performance of the fighters is less than realistic. This was a little disappointing to me. Also it was a little second-rate to have a crowd in the background that was substandard . These people in the background were nothing more than vulgar photos. The quality of the fight, however, was very well done. It should be noted too that this game is the first one of its kind and with EA Sports behind the titles, one can expect a much improved game in the next versions.

Still, all-in-all, we DO have a boxing game now. Knockout Kings is certainly not a major hit, but it IS still a respectable quality game worthy of interest. KK is a must for all those boxing and action enthusiasts.
