The publisher Nintendo and the developer HAL Laboratory had a wonderful idea for their new video game : they took all the characters that have make the Nintendo company famous and they have put them in a combat game where these characters fight without mercy. The goal of this game is to beat all the others characters and the last boss. To defeat your opponents, you must inflict them damages until they fall off the fighting place.

This combat game is before everything a multiplayer game. Effectively, it is in this mode that you will more be fun. Beyond this mode, you can play alone or you can practice in the training mode. Those modes contain 8 main characters and 4 hidden (Luigi is back!), as well as 8 level (1 for each character) and 1 hidden. During the fight, you can pick up a multitude of weapons. Among the main characters, you can fin Mario, Link, Kirby, Yoshi, Pikachu, Donkey Kong, Samus and Fox. Each of them have 3 moves that they others don't have.

With all these stars, you will be able to play with your friends all night long without having a match that resemble to another. The graphics in this game are not extraordinary but they fit for the characters of this game.

The bonus levels are often more difficult to finish than the fighting levels, so they are not really bonus.It is only a fighting game and the 3D element, which have been introduced in others fighting games, is missing. So this game rest a simple combat game compare to what is out there now.

This game let you play with your favorite characters and fight against 3 others of your friends in the levels of the characters. The music is not excellent but it will sound familiar if you have already played with the games of these stars before and it will reminds you some old memories. Their is a diversity of very original weapons even the famous light saber. The control is very easy to achieve. Their are 4 hidden characters who, once you've got them, are very useful and you will be able to use them later in the multiplayer mode.

Finally, this game is principally a multiplayer game. You can amuse yourself alone but it is more fun when you play it with your friends. It is a simple game and it is not very complicated to control it so almost everybody can play it without difficulty. If you've played with the games of the characters that are in this one, you should try this game because you will surely have good memories of the good old time.
