LADYDRAGON.COM - Blood Omen 2

Developed by Crystal Dinamics and and Published by Eidos, Blood Omen 2 is an action - combat game where you play a vampire named Kain.

The story of Blood Omen 2 takes place 2 hundred years after Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen and several centuries before the events of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver.The main character is a vampire called Kain that almost got killed by the Sarafan Lord in a deadly battle.

An other vampire called Umah took care of him and revived him to health. When he awakes she explains to him what happened and help him trained so that he can help fight against the Sarafan.

Since he is a vampire he needs blood to survive so you will need to kill people and suck the blood out of them so you need to do that constantly in order to maintain your health. Plus when you get attacked by enemies you lost blood as well.

So to kill your enemies he can strike and grab them even block attacks.

Your enemies will carry different weapons that you can pick up and use plus he can climb ladders, open doors, flip switches, move block and obtain objects like the Nexus stone.

Plus Kain has supernatural abilities called Dark Gifts that he can use as well like Mist , Jump, Charm, Telekinesis, Berserk and Immolate, Mist is quite fun to watch where their is fog you can select Mist and then you blend into the fog so you can attack by surprise without being seen.

You will notice that it will not take you that long to finish the game.

The control can be awkward at time since sometime you need to use the R1 plus and other button to fight and you can not change the setting.

And since you are a vampire well the main element is blood not everyone likes so much blood in a game.

But if you like bloody games you appreciate the graphics they are well done plus when Kain sucks the blood from a body he can do it more then once sometimes and each time he sucks up the blood you see it from a different angle and it is interesting to watch.

Blood Omen 2 is not for everyone but vampire games are popular so if you like being a vampire and bloody action games you will like this one.
