Developed by Rainbow Studios and published by Infogrames, Splashdown is a fun exiting game where you pilot the famous watercraft Sea-Doo all over the world. Invented in 1968, the Sea-Doo is like the Ski-Doo but instead of driving on snow you drive on the water.
In the career mode you select a character, the color of your Sea-Doo and the level of difficulty then you start your race. Has you succeed you will unlock more tracks, from all over the world like from Australia and Europe. You will be able also to unlock wetsuits and racers. You can also perform over 30 acrobatic stunts on your Sea-Doo.
Before you start you career there is a training area where you can familiarize yourself with your Sea-Doo and learn how to operate it properly. There are also other game mode in the Arcade section like Circuit, Time Trial Countdown and Free Ride.

 There is also a multiplayer section where you can play with a friend. Unfortunately you can not play 4 players. There are different ways to view your race but there is no first person view. It would of been fun when you submarine your Sea-Doo to be able to see under the water the marine life. Splashdown is quite fun the play because it is full of actions and the courses are designed to keep your interest at all time plus if you look carefully they have hidden passages for you to experience.
The control are good and you can even feel the wave when you run in to them. The graphics are nicely done has well you can see the reflection of sun on the water. The soundtrack has artist like Smashmouth and Blink 182 or you can simply play your own song on your hardrive. Splashdown will surely entertain you for many hours plus you will be able to experience this fun sports on water with Sea-Doos,
