Developed by Clap Hanz and published by Sony, Hot Shot Golf 3 is an amusing and fun arcade-golf game done exclusively for the PlayStation 2. The Single Player Golf is the main mode where you can Trained yourself, play the Stroke Play where you pick your favorite course and play a round on it. Tournament mode is where you can enter a variety of events to win items. In the VS mode you play against the characters you have unlocked. In National Tournament you get a password online where you can play until September 30 2002 makes sure that you read the rules to see if you qualify for the Tournament.
Except the Training mode every mode that you will play will earn you some points where you then can go shopping for more Equipment. Other game mode are the Short Course where you play 9 holes of par-3, And the Multi- Players Golf where you can play with up to 4 players.
When you start your game you can choose between 3 Player and 3 Caddy. More can be unlock as you progress in your game there is 15 players and 7 Caddy in total to play with. You can play on course like Mt. Sakura Country Club in Japan a 18 hole - Par 72 - 6548 Yards. Aloha Beach Resort in Hawaii a 18 hole - Par 72 - 6724 Yards. Western Valley Country Club in USA a 18 hole - Par 72 - 6962 Yards.

The new Features are enhanced graphics deliver photo-realistic golf environments complete with simulated weather conditions, affecting the flight of the ball and the speed of the greens. New swing meters will test your skills with a variety of different interfaces depending on your lie, whether it is in the fairway, rough, tree-line, dirt or sand trap.
Graphically improved “particle grid” putting system provides an accurate read of the undulating greens. Earn “Hot Shots Points” for superb performances, great shots and remarkable putts. "Hot Shots Points” can be redeemed to buy enhanced equipment and golf gadgets. Participate in the National Tournament Mode and compare your scores with fellow Hot Shots golfers across the nation. From the morning mist to the dawning sun, the “Time of Day” feature provides a realistic portrayal of a full day at the golf course. Intuitive controls provide pick-up and play enjoyment, and mastering advanced techniques will make a seasoned pro out of everyone. Clap Hanz did a good job with this title but still need a few improvement like the comments of the Caddys are too repetitive. Although the graphics part of the game is very nice specially the green, you will still see some pixels in the back where the trees are. Has for the loading between hole it fast so you do not have to wait too long. The control are good specially if you are not too familiar with golf. Sony' Hot Shot Golf 3 has a game play that is quite fun and if you are not an expert on golf or you do not want to bother with every little detail you will like this game. |
