LADYDRAGON.COM - Kinetica

Kinetica is an spectacular arcade-style futuristic racing game done exclusively for the PlayStation 2 and is the first fully internally developed title by Sony Computer Entertainment America, Santa Monica.

With Kinetica you can play the single or multiplayer mode. In the Single mode there is the the practice, single and season mode to choose from.

There is 4 tracks to race on at first but 8 more can be unlocked has you progress up to 12 futuristic tracks in total.

As for the Multiplayer mode you can play up to 4 players with a selection of 19 races.

Ava, Cera, Vigor, Xia, Siba, Crank, Zinon, Razzo and Greck are your racers. Since it is futuristic racing game, each racers that you can race with has a 9 Kinetic suits.

Kinetic suits are scientifically advanced exoskeletons that fuse with humans, allowing them to adhere to anything plus each are engineered for racing in diverse and extreme environments.

Each suits has its unique attributes like Acceleration, Top Speed, Cornering and Grip that allows for different racing tactics.

You can perform Boost like the Boost Speed, Boost Grips, Siphon Boost and the Skid Boost.

Air and Ground Stunts like the Front Flip, Roll left and right, Spin right and left , Back Flip and combos.

There is also power ups that you can pick up during your race that are in form of Crystals which will give you abilities like 30% Boost, Drafting, Faster Stunts, Burst Attack, Infinite Boost and Super boost.

To controls these racer can be at time hard since it not obvious and the game is so fast..

As for the graphics the tracks are nicely designed they are huge and all over the place.

Kinetica when you master the controls has a lot to offer if you like futuristic racing game .
