LADYDRAGON.COM - Okage: Shadow king

Developed by Zener Works and published by Sony, Okage is a unique role-playing game done exclusively for the PlayStation 2.

Your main character is Ari from the village Tenel, a young boy which his sister Annie was attacked by ghost and got the pig Latin curse. So in order to save her Ari makes a deal with Stand.

Stand is an Evil King that was imprison for many years in a bottle. The bottle was find by Ari's father and that is how they met.

Stand, the Evil King promised to undo the pig Latin curse that was cast on his sister if Ari would become his slave and help him get rid of the pretenders Evil kings.

Stand is to weak so he must stay into Ari's shadow and he needs him to help fight and defeat the Evil Pretenders. They are 7 Evil Pretenders one for each region.

Your adventure will make you travel to towns, villages and dungeons plus there is special hidden passageways to discover.

There is also special stone circle that can transport you from one place to an other.

There is a map to guide you through the towns and the villages plus a separate one for the dungeons.

The fields are patrols by ghost if you they touch Ari you will have to battle them.

You will battle with weapons and magic. The more fight you win the more experience and skills you will gather which in return will make you stronger and better when you fight.

You also can have 2 characters to join your party to help you explore the game.

Along your quest you perform task, talk to people, find items of enhancement and cures restoration plus treasure chest.

There is also place where you can save, rest and change your party like Ari's room, Inns and Diaries.

Okage: Shadow King is a refreshing original RPG game where your shadow plays an important part of your game.
