LADYDRAGON.COM - DEER AVANGER 2: DEER IN THE CITY

Remember Bambo the star of Deer Avenger well he is back for more revenge but this time in the city. Developed by Hypnotix and published by Simon & Schuster Interactive they now bring us the sequel to the best-selling parody, Deer Avenger 2: Deer in the City.

For those who are not familiar with Bambo let tell you about him a bit. Bambo is a deer that lives in the forest and in the first Deer Avenger his lady friend was run over deliberately by hunters so he went to get revenge by going after the hunters.

In the Deer Avenger 2 introduction you see the same thing happens, where the hunters deliberately runs over his Lady Friend again and Bambo decide to go after the Hunters but this time he goes in the city.

Remember this is a parody taking hunting in a humorous way. Of course hunting animals is no laughing matter but this game turns the table around where you are the deer and manage to make it funny.

Funny because they went to get Brian McCann who is the writer for the "Late Night with Conan O'Brien show" to write the commentary and the dialog of this game.

You start the game by selecting your weapon. You can choose between 3 tranquilizer rifle: Snuzi the rapid fire hand held tranquilizer pistol,

R.E.M.16 the controlled burst tranquilizer machine gun and the Dream Weaver double barrel tranquilizer shot gun.

Then you need to go in the 3 places in each you need to capture the hunter that is there : the Armpit Estates is the neighborhood, the Swamp Ass Grill the local bar and the Business Area where you into Telannoy a Telemarketing firm.

Each place you will will come across all type of individual that will shoot back at you and will make funny comments Bambo will also make funny remarks the entire game.

You also will help like the fart you can press to help you out which take a direct shot at your opponent and you have salt to collect that heals you.

Although it would of been more fun to have more location to play some more you will have fun discovering what you can shoot at and entertain by the dialog through out the game.

The graphics are well done designing the characters in a done in a caricatured way and the music is like making the scenery a bit.

Deer Avenger 2: Deer in the City will amuse and entertain you in various ways so if you liked the first one you will love this one and specially if you are an animal lovers.
