A Solitary Ghost Must Confront a Fearsome Horde In Order to Rest In Peace !

Released around the time of Halloween, this is a game that is fitting for the spooky time of the year. In MediEvil, you play the part of a ghostly knight that has a second chance to confront fate to win a chance to rest in peace. It's a humorous game that is played in an excellent mixture of the darkness of cemeteries and crypts. SCEA did a good job of making a game for both the adult audience and the younger ones.

MediEvil is a three dimensional perspective action game. The goal of the game is simple, You are Sir Daniel Fortesque who has returned and is trying to make all right in his kingdom once again. The quality of the level of gameplay is excellent but with respect to the visuals of the player, the camera angles do not work well sometimes. You can shift the perspective back and forth but when you start forward once again, the camera becomes stubborn and won't cooperate. The choice of movements, by the way, are very simplistic, but effective enough for the controls. The settings are subtly gruesome, reproducing the dark universe and the medieval setting of Sir, Daniel, the Warrior Skeleton that you embody.

MediEvil is nevertheless a game easy enough to finish. It only took me eight and a half hours to complete from beginning to end. Of course, those of you who are not familiar with games such as Tomb Raider or Contra will have more difficulty than others. The music is not a central point in the game. It's okay, but I would have preferred to have had theatrical music or perhaps a funeral-type melody to go along with the entire theme of the game.

I believe that this game will be enjoyed by fans of video games for PlayStation, not for the difficult that it brings to play, but rather for the uniqueness of its kind. Other fans of Medieval times, those dedicated to horror films, black humor and all the followers of Tomb Raider will also enjoy the game. It's up to you to play the part of this skeleton in quest of vengeance and to succeed in each of the quests that will be proposed. All-in-all, this game is not as bloody as many would imagine, and it is therefore, a good game for everyone!
