Monster Truck Madness 2

10/07/98

Monster Truck Madness 2 Is Addicting, Fun, and Just Plain Awesome Racing!

This game is a definite improvement over the original. Even with a graphic accellerator, Monster Truck Madness 1 was pretty plain, while Monster Truck Madness 2 is just awesome! The graphics and sounds are ultra-realistic when you have a 3d Accellerator and sound card. With force feedback compatibility, 11 new tracks (you can even import tracks from your original MTM 1), Nine new trucks with crushable bodies, and they even have the REAL Monster Trucks in here, (like "Executioner", "Firestone Wilderness", "Snake Bite" and "Stinger", plus trucks from the original MTM like "Bigfoot" and "Grave Digger"!!!), you can't go wrong with this game!

The Game's Background? Well this is a "Drive through the mud with monster trucks and crash into everything while trying to get to the finish line first" kinda game. Get the point? :)

So enough about the specs, you want to hear about the game, right? Well one thing I noticed while playing was variable weather conditions, which are quite cool.
Another thing that seperates this game from the rest is the fact that you don't have to stick to the roads...you can go offroad, take shortcuts, and more!
Also, check out the Computer's Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Computer controlled players will actually cut you off and try to ram you into things in order for them to win!

If you have a 3d Accellerator, you just HAVE to try out the demo of this game. And even if you don't, you should give it a try anyway, and also consider purchasing a 3d accellerator; it opens up a whole new world of gameplay in PC games.
If you're a fan of racing-type games, or even if you aren't, you should at least give this great hit a try.
