Sanctum's Beautiful Artwork, Massive Card Variety, and Powerful GamePlay will keep you coming back for more!

Although turn based strategy games usually get boring after a while, Sanctum just keeps you coming back for more! Sanctum is a game made by Digital Addiction and is played over the internet in 1 on 1 games. Digital Addiction did an absolutely awesome job on the artwork of this game, and the only way to describe it is amazing. You need to see the graphics for yourself. The graphics and artwork in this game aren't the 3d kind you may think, but are intricately designed realistic pictures of creatures and spells throughout the game. These realistic pictures make sanctum seem more realistic, and make it much more fun. The playing board also is designed wonderfully, and the units look very nice on the screen.

Sanctum combines the simplicity of chess with the fun of a collectable card game. It delivers intrigue, surprise, and a degree of replayability never-before-experienced by the online gaming community. There are hundreds of different cards you can choose from, which really make the game more interesting and give it variety.

It's story: Somewhere...beyond space and imagination there exists a place of mighty wizardry from deep in the heart of your SANCTUM, you bind armies to your will and use the lore of the 12 arcana to wage war upon your enemies.

This game is very fun, and best of all, it is FREE. You get a sixty card starter deck for free, and can purchase additional packs cards for between $1 and $3 per pack. You can create multiple decks of cards (spells) to use during different games, depending on what playing style you want to use. Sanctum comes with a built in 'deck builder', which contains detailed descriptions of all of the cards and lets you choose what cards you want in your deck. The learning curve on this game is not that high...you can learn how to play like a pro in just a few games.

Another cool and unique feature about this game is the lag. Sanctum is not like StarCraft or Total Annihilation, which need to send large amounts of data over the internet in order to keep each computer up to date with info...Sanctum only needs to send a very small amount of data to each player, so there is no lag during gameplay, and you can download files from the web while playing without it disturbing the gameplay. This would normally slow your game to a crawl.

Overall, once this game starts getting more popular, it will become an instant hit and timeless classic for people who like card based games. For people who aren't really into card games, you should still give this game a chance. It is fun, exciting, and you will never play the same game twice.
