The classic board game Scrabble, on CD-ROM!

Scrabble has always been a game I could never master.  My total lack of skill in spelling has made me stick to 3 letter word scores in this game.  Hopeless as I was, I still liked the CD-Rom very, very much.

The interface is easy to use and very clean.  You pick up you tiles and place em on the board.  Nice change from the mess than can happen on the OLD scrabble game with tiles everywhere.
You can choose to play against the computer or for more fun, real people via modem or internet. The game even includes Merriam Webster's Official Scrabble Players Dictionary so arguments about words are solved by the game. Nice touch.

The classic is back and improved

Does Zubicky count?

I found the computer just too hard to beat on almost every level.  The computer can seem to pull out words I have never seen or more to the point, would never have thought of.

The game itself in case you have never played is simple, you each get seven letters picked at random and you must try and make words out of then on a board by attaching them to other words.

I was impressed with how the game was improved by the translation into the CD-ROM world. This may find a permanent home on my hard drive. Bravo!
