Already finished Tomb Raider 2 ? Well something good just got out for you, Tomb Raider2 Gold. Developed by Core-Design and published by Eidos this game is a good news for every fan of Lara.

Lara is searching for the golden mask of Tornarsuk and you will have to help her to find it through 4 totally new level full of action and beautiful scenery. New beasts await Lara like Yetis, white sharks, killer eels, past warrior monks and rabid Doberman. You will travel in China, Tibet,Venice and a sunken ocean liner. All this action with the great arsenal that Lara had in the original Tomb Raider 2.

Level 1 : The cold, cold war. Arriving by helicopter at an island glacier somewhere in the Bering Sea, Lara finds
that mercenary treasure hunters have got here before her and are looking for the
'Lost Gold'.

Level 2 : Fool's gold.The facility is, in fact, a secret Russian Government Mine, abandoned since a long time , but populated now by mercenaries and wild animals.The Russians had obviously built themselves a stronghold in this 'national no-mans-land'.

Level 3 : The furnace of the gods. An area where the 'prospecting' has suddenly stopped and a pile of skeletons fragments and some eerie cave paintings seem to issue a stern warning. The mine had been built above an ancient Inuit settlement.

Level 4 : The Kingdom. The Kingdom is a lush tropical valley.a 'Shangri-La' hidden from the world for thousands of years. Ancient technology has been used to keep the heat and light pouring into this mysterious chasm.

The only problem with Tomb Raider2 Gold is that it is only 4 level and a good tomb raider player could easily finish those levels in a laughable time. Even if this game got about the same time as Tomb Raider 3, there are no improvements in graphics since it use the same graphic engine as the original Tomb Raider2.

Some fans will never miss a chance to play with the most popular female character in the whole action games history. But some will simply keep their money to buy Tomb Raider 3 to get more levels and better and improved graphics quality. Still the levels of Tomb Raider2 Gold are very fun to explore and discover the mysteries of the Golden Mask of Tornarsuk.
