Beta Direct3D Patch
This beta patch
improves performance on most Direct3D cards.
To install, copy
the D3DDrv.dll file to the "System"
folder inside your Deus Ex folder
(C:\DeusEx\System by default).
This patch will
fix texture thrashing problems (which cause
abnormally low framerates) on nVidia and Matrox
cards and some z-buffering errors on Matrox
cards.
This
is version 1.6.2 of the driver.
If you wish to go
back to the original .dll file provided with the
game, copy the D3DDrv.dll file from the
"System" folder on the game CD, to the
DeusEx\System folder on your hard drive.
This patch is
being provided in beta form. However, you can
email the technical support people if you have
any problems using THIS LINK.
