Developed by Magenta Software and published by Sony, Disney's Treasure Planet is an action - platform game based on the Robert Louis Disney's film Treasure Island. You will play the role of Jim Hawkins who with his mentor Dr. Doppler have discovered the map and the route to Treasure Island. They have decided to go and claim to Treasure for themselves.
You will explore a strange universe since it is outer space where robots roam around ancient mechanical engines and inhabitants that fly space ships powered by sunlight. But where there is a Treasure there are Pirates so during your adventure you will encounters Pirates that you will need to defeat.
Throughout your adventure Morph Jim' s trusted little friend will be by your side. Morph is a bubbly alien mimic with the ability to take the shape on many things like a Gliders for you to use. He also is very aware of his surrounding so he can point out additional place to explore like passage or objects that you overlooked.

You will also have other friends that will help you like, B.E.N., Captain Amelia, Silver and Dr. Doppler. To combat his enemies Jim can use a Pistol, a musket and use his Sword to do a Sword Swipe and a Sword Smash Attack.
There are also Items to pick up like Gems, Drubloon, Diode, Scroll, Gallery token, Micro-Sub-Full-Extra-Life, Crystal, Token and Treasure Counter plus Vending Machine that you can broke.
There are 10 levels for you to explore, mini games that you can participate in and boss to defeat as well as original artwork, behind-the-scenes game footage and movie clips to unlock. Disney's Treasure Planet is simple title where all the family can play.
