SeniorPetProducts.com Announces Contest to Celebrate Launch of New Senior Pet Lover Web 2.0 Site

LadyDragon --SeniorPetProducts.com, an online resource for owners of older pets, today announced the launch of its newly enhanced Web 2.0 site. Now pet owners can go to a single source to learn how to help older pets live happier, healthier lives, and share their experiences with other dog and cat lovers.

To mark the launch of the new site, SeniorPetProducts.com is holding a contest, challenging pet enthusiasts to develop a new tagline for the company.

“The new tagline will reflect the love people have for their pets, and should also sum up the resources SeniorPetProducts.com can provide to pet owners. The winner of the tagline contest will receive a $500 gift certificate from SeniorPetProducts.com,” said Tom Bagamane, company spokesperson.

To enter the contest, purchase products or get more information on caring for your senior pet, please go to www.seniorpetproducts.com. Contest deadline is May 31st, 2009. You can also find them on Twitter at @oldpetslovemore.

“SeniorPetProducts.com was created to give owners of aging dogs and cats an informative, friendly online resource to address the needs of older pets. The new Web 2.0 site will include community feedback forums, articles from highly respected experts on the topic of pet aging, and cost-effective, quality products for senior pets,” said Bagamane.

Dr. Bill Goldston, widely considered to be the “father” of geriatric veterinary medicine, is one of SeniorPetProducts.com’s top contributing experts. “This site is quickly becoming the best available resource for owners of senior animals that I have seen,” says Goldston. “It enhances what veterinarians are informing their clients about the challenges of caring for an aging pet.”

Innovative products available on the site include Nina Ottsson’s Interactive Games, designed to stimulate a pet’s brain while reinforcing their connection with people; waterproof bedliners; and portable ramps that can be unfolded to multiple lengths to help less-agile pets reach high places.

A portion of all SeniorPetProducts.com sales are donated to Grey Muzzle, an organization which improves the lives of at-risk senior dogs by providing funding and resources to animal shelters, rescue organizations, sanctuaries, and other non-profit groups nationwide.
