Serena Williams is in the final at Wimbledon 2010

• Serena Williams has advanced to the final at a Grand Slam for the 16th time; she is 12-3 in her 15 GS final appearances to date

• Serena is making her 6th final appearance at Wimbledon; she is 3-2 in her 5 finals to date at the All-England Club

• At least one of the Williams sisters has advanced to 10 of 11 Wimbledon finals since 2000; including 4 all- Williams finals: 2002 (Serena), 2003 (Serena), 2008 (Venus) and 2009 (Serena)

• The top seed has won the title at Wimbledon only twice in last 12 years – 2003 (Serena) and 2006 (Mauresmo); in the Open Era, the top seed has won the Wimbledon title 20 times (including 1985 when Navratilova won the title as co-No.1 seed w/ Evert)

• Serena has been extended to 3 sets in 4 of her 15 Grand Slam finals, winning all 4 such matches; she has won all 4 tiebreaks that she has played in Grand Slam finals

• Serena will remain at No.1 in the WTA Tour Singles Rankings after Wimbledon, extending her overall weeks at No.1 to at least 110.
