Caroline Wozniacki is now WTA number one in the world By LadyDragon DOHA, QATAR--(LadyDragon.com)28/10/10--Caroline Wozniacki (DEN) is now WTA number #1 in the world after her win over Francesca Schiavone (ITA) in 3 sets 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 in 2 hours and 1 minute. Since the WTA ranking in 1975, Caroline is now the 10th number one player in the world. In her post game interview, Caroline said that she was very happy and proud of her achievement this year and that she dreamed of being number one since she was a little girl.
Concerning the match she said that even though she won the last 2 sets 6-1, 6-1 it was much more hard that the score leads to be. At the end Caroline said she will whatch the match between Elena and Francesca tomorrow.
