ACTIVISION'S TONY HAWK'S UNDERGROUND 2 AND THE CREATIVE ASSEMBLY'S ROME: TOTAL WAR HONORED AT 2005 ACADEMY OF INTERACTIVE ARTS AND SCIENCES SHOW

Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) announced today that Tony Hawk's Underground 2 and The Creative Assembly's Rome: Total War(tm) were awarded "Best Action Sports Game of the Year" and "Best Strategy Game of the Year," respectively, at the Eighth Annual Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences' D.I.C.E. Awards Show, held on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
