EA LAUNCHES WEB PORTAL FOR UPCOMING PLAYSTATION PORTABLE GAMES

PSP.EA.COM Goes Live With Details of Launch Titles, Developer Interviews and More

Electronic Arts (Nasdaq: ERTS) today announced that it has launched a web portal dedicated to its upcoming games for the Sony PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable) handheld videogame system. Starting today, players worldwide can learn about EA’s launch line-up, game features and gain insight from the development team by visiting www.psp.ea.com.

Designed to serve as a destination for information about the soon-to-be-released games, the web site goes live with details for Need for Speed™ Underground Rivals and Tiger Woods PGA TOUR® - the two titles slated to ship in sync with the system launch in Japan. The site will be continually updated with new screenshots, feature lists, videos, and developer Q&As. Future updates will include details of EA’s additional North American launch titles including NBA STREET, NFL STREET and others.

“Game players worldwide are hungry for information about our PSP games. This site will give game fans a taste of what we have in store,” said Matt Bilbey, Marketing Director of Team Fusion. “Now you can get in the game, even before the games hit shelves.”

Inspired by hit franchises, all of EA’s games for the PSP will be customized and optimized for the new console. Need for Speed Underground Rivals and Tiger Woods PGA TOUR golf are being developed in EA Canada by Team Fusion, a group of approximately 150 game designers specializing in development for the PSP. These two titles will ship in North America alongside NBA STREET, NFL STREET and other unannounced games when the system reaches that market in spring 2005.
