Kim is now #1 in the world in the WTA rankings over Caroline Wozniacky who is now #2. Jelena serving first and up to a great start, after 8 minutes of play she lead 3-0. Kim holds for the first time in the match 3-1. Jelena fourt double faults give the break back to Kim, so we are now back on serve 3-2. A very quick game from Kim where she holds to Love 3 all. Long game and Kim wins her fourth game in arow 4-2. Again a quick game to Love from Kim for a fifth game in row 5-2. 6 games in a row for kim to win her the first set 6-3 after 25 minutes of play.
8 double faults and too many pivital errors from Jelena. Kim on fire and Jelena no match for her in the second set 6-0
Kim wins the match in 51 minutes. Jelena was too wild today and Kim too precise.
Kim is now #1 in the world after this win. After the match they have made a little celebration for Kim where she was presented 2 gifts and Amelie Mauresmo was there to congradulate her and to give her the gifts.
Kim said that she was very happy to be #1 again and that it happened in Europe this time.
