Serena Williams wins the Final over Lucie Safarova at the FamilyCircleCup in Charleston By LadyDragon CHARLESTON--(LadyDragon.com)08/04/12--Serena wins the Final against Lucie in 2 sets 6-0, 6-1 in 1 hour. Serena serving first. Serena hold to love1-0. Long game and after seeing 2 break points, serena breaks, 2-0. Long gam as well but Serena holds, 3-0. Quicker game but still Lucie can not hold, 4-0. Very long game, lucie gets 2 break points but fails to break, 5-0. Again, lucie looses her serve to give the set to Serena, 6-0 3-0. Finally lucie managed to win her first service game of the match at love no less, 3-1. Serena keeps holding 4-1, serena wins the second set 6-1. Unfortunatly Lucie did not have the weapons today to fight off Serena and she goes down hard. |
