Caroline Wozniacki wins over Monica Niculescu at the 2012 Australian Open By LadyDragon MELBOURNE, Australia--(LadyDragon.com)20/01/12--Caroline Wozniacki wins the match in 2 sets, 6-2, 6-2 against Monica Niculescu in 76 minutes at the 2012 Australian Open. Caroline wins the first 2 games but gets broken in the third sp we are back on serve 2-1. Caroline breaks again and holds to Love for a 4-1 lead. Monica holds 4-2. Long game but Caroline holds and now Monica will serve to stay int he set. Caroline breaks and wins the first set 6-2 in 36 minutes. Caroline saves a break point, 1-0. On serve 1 all. An ace from Caroline to give her the game 2-1. Caroline breaks to 15 for a 3-1 lead. Caroline holds again for a 4-1. Caroline breaks to love and now will serve for the match. Very long game and Monica breaks but failed to hold so Caroline win the second set 6-2 in 40 minutes and the match. Again an other match where the games were closer then the score reflected. Caroline will play against the winner of the Christina McHale and Jelena Jankovic in her next match. |
