Maria Sharapova wins over Angelique Kerber at the 2012 Australian Open By LadyDragon MELBOURNE, Australia--(LadyDragon.com)21/01/12--Maria Sharapova wins over Angelique Kerber in 2 sets, 6-0, 6-2 in 64 minutes at the 2012 Australian Open. Maria wins the first 2 games but Angelique wins a very long third game, 2-1. Maria goes on and win all thgames for a 6-1 first set win in 31 minutes. Maria again win the first 2 games, 2-0 then an other lvery long game and this time Angelique wins the game and we are back on serve, 2-1. An other almost 10 m inutes game and Angelique holds 2 all. Angelique keeps fighting back but Maria wins the next 3 games. and now Angelique serving to stay in the match. Maria breaks and wins the second set 6-2 in 56 minutes. They played at least 4 games that was almost 10 minutes long. It was a very unique match and we could see that Maria really wants this title. |
