Andrea Petkovic will play at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix

STUTTGART--(LadyDragon.com)25/04/12--Andrea Petkovic is back. After being sidelined for three months with a back injury, the Porsche Team Germany player won her match in the first round of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix 6-1, 6-4 against Kristina Barrois who had been given a main draw wild card. After the match Andrea Petkovic said about . . .

. . . the advantage of knowing the court in the Porsche Arena from the Fed Cup.
“It was naturally very important. One slides a little differently indoors than outdoors, but when you get used to it then it’s alright.”

. . . about her long injury break:
“Worst of all were the first few days when I wasn’t allowed to do anything. I flew to the Mal-dives alone and realised I missed the competitiveness and the stress of the tour far more than I imagined.”

. . . about the things that have changed after the injury:
“I’ve become a little more relaxed. And I have sensed how nice it is being a tennis profes-sional. I feel humbleness and gratitude.”
