Caroline Wozniacki moves to the quarter final at US Open 2009 by defeated Svetlana Kuznetsova for the first time in a Gran Slam.

Caroline just won the Pilot Pen Tournament for the second year in row. Caroline has actually 8 victories in a row. Plus Caroline has to most matchs won this year, more then No.4 Elena Dementieva (50) and No. 1 Dinara Safina (52) with 56 victories.

Kuz started to serve first then got broken and breaks right back for 1-1, then both held so now it is 2-2. Kuz holds 3-2. Kuz looking strong and breaks Caroline, 4-2. 7 Unforved Errors each so far. Kuz stays strong for a 5-2 lead.

Kuz breaks Caroline to win the first set, 6-2.

Kuz serving first again and wins the first game in the second set, 1-0. So far Kuz leads as well in Winners 13-6. Caroline holds, 1-1. Kuz making too much unforced errors and gives the game to Caroline, 2-1. Kuz playing better and breaks, 2-2. They both are holding for 3-3.So far Kuz keeps leading in Winners 20-6. On seve 4-4. Caroline breaks and now serving for the set. Kuz breaks 5-5 and holds with an ace for 6-5. Caroline serving to stay in the match and bring it to a Tie Break where she takes charge and wins the TB . Even though that Kuz leads in Winners 34-9 she loses the TB with an Unforced Error with the ball in the net. 7-5

2009 3-set Records, 14-5 for Caroline and 14-7 for Kuz so should a be a close one.

Caroline now serving first in the third set but broken and Kuz holds, 2-0. Now Caroline and Kuz holds so 3-1. Caroline holds and breaks and hold to get the lead 4-3. Caroline being sharp and breaks and now will serve for the match, 5-3. Kuz break for 5-5.

Caroline went on to win in the Tie Break.

Caroline strength was that she never give up and cme back froma set down to win the match.
